Ketchum...

Darek, Caylee, Doris(Darek's Grandma), Joyce(Darek's Mom) and I all went up to the Ketchum/Bellevue/Hailey(where Darek has been working for the last 7 months) area for a week to Doris's condo. We had a great time. Darek got up and went to work each day, and us girls went site seeing in Sun Valley, junkin, and shopping. I love the area. Most of the nights were cold and we were consumed by the heat of the hot tub and I'm sure we are all fried inside due to the hours we spent soaking the chlorine up!!! It was great, and I highly recommend spending a week up there if you can! Below are some pictures of our visit: Enjoy:

This is KK riding the wild hog statue at the farmer's market/art market they had going on!!!

We met up with Joyce's couson Delmer, that resides in right outside Hailey, with his wife Charlene, and their 13 year old daughter Lisa. We had a wonderful time visiting and Caylee had an even better time with Lisa in the hot tub! Two peas in a pod, they were unseperable.

We met up with Darek on day during his lunch break and Caylee automatically was attracted to this dinosaur right outside Subway, she actually wanted her picture taken!

Just a little update, blah blah blah, ramblings of Tiff....

Darek, Caylee and I have been super busy this summer just having a blast!!! Its official, we are both unemployed(laid off :)) and loving it. We spend our days together, waking up around ten, remodeling, boating, going out and so one.... Caylee even told one of our friends that "he should get fired, cause its so much fun!!!" Speaking of Caylee, shes so cute, and getting so big, she starts school on the 31, but long story short(read on for the long version), we are moving again, so which school is now undecided!!! She hates having someone other then herself take her picture so getting her to pose was hard, that stinker....

So here's one of her self portraits, I found it on my camera one day while I was going through deleting pics... I couldn't help but post it!!!

And another....
That's our little KK....

Explanation: She loves the kiss pose and peace, but to explain why she is cross eyed... she has Dwayne Syndrome (AKA no muscle on the left part of her left eye causing her right eye to over compensate for the lack of movement from her left). She now thinks its funny, and crosses her eyes all the time to show off, but the doc says let her do it, its only making any muscles she does have strong!

Like every summer, we've been out on the boat often, we love the summer heat. This year our outing mostly consist of lucky peak, with awesome friends and family.

One weekend we took out Flo and her kids Casey and Van, and Ashley, Casey's friend, they loved the tubes!!! Good times, good friends what else could you ask for!!!! Here's them in action!!!

Here's one of Florie and I, we had a blast!!!
Some other exciting news.... Caylee lost her first tooth, boy was she excited. Here's a pic of her showing in loose, 2 days later it was gone!!!
We have also had the privileged to visit Darek's Half brothers family. Jackson and Caylee are the same age, and Oakley is 2.5. This was the first time I met the little guy, and boy is he a cutie, they both are!
Recently due to the wonderful weather, Darek has convinced me to take up fishing, although my lack of catching anything is causing some frustration, but hey, it is relaxin. Here's a picture of Caylee and a fish she reeled in, she was so excited!!!

Now on to a frustrating part of my life, moving.... we've moved more then 5 times in the last 5 years, and we have found a place we love and live in, a landlord we love, but neighbors we can't stand!!! We have two small dog, and yes, one is a barker (cut us some slack she is a min pin and min pins are yappy). So our neighbors all have 3+ dogs and yes all of them bark. But for some reason, when we go out of town and someone dog watches for us, our neighbors, or one in particular feels the need to call animal control and this time she wrote us an actual misdemeanor citation for my dog being a bother barking at her. Never once has she called when we are home! These old women come over and leave cheap ass dog food in my yard because they think my dogs are too skinny (hello look up a picture of a health dog, and you wont find one as fat as hers), this pisses me off cause the crap gives my dogs the Hershey squirts that i have to clean up after. So after investigating some what, I've come to find out that my dogs aren't outrageous barks, and they only bark when the neighbors hold convenient meeting in front of my house!!! HELLO does anyone see something wrong with this picture? So now we have to go to court and fight this so its not on our record, and guess what, the neighbor has to go to court also, ha ha ha she never saw that coming! She thought we would get a fine, come to find out the judge decides that, and she's (the neighbor) mad!!!! All i have to say is "you get what you give"!!!!
Another aspect of my life that's causing some stress is my former employer!!!! I got a call on Thursday, stating that they want me back temporarily. IF i say no... i could lose my unemployment, if i say yes... more money then before!!! but less time for my family and myself!!! And this job totally stresses me out!!! We'll see how it all pans out... everything happens for a reason, right?
For the most part to sum my life up... "God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy"...

I've come to realize.....

I got this from one of my friends myspace blogs and thought that I would give it a try... thanx Lacey!!!!

I've come to realize that prescription drugs really work if somethings really indeed is wrong.
I've come to realize that working out makes me feel like a much better person, mental physically... basically in all ways.
I've come to realize I let little things annoy me that shouldn't.
I've come to realize that going back to school is going to be one of the best choices I could make right now.
I've come to realize that not matter how old you are, you can still have fun.
I've come to realize that my daughter is my everything, even though she can make me so mad.
I've come to realize that certain people can not be trusted.
I've come to realize that I have a problem with putting my phone on silent and losing it.
I've come to realize that I don't care what others think!
I've come to realize that I am NOT a morning person.
I've come to realize that I'm Obsessive Compulsive.
I've come to realize that my best friends are my husband and my twin sister.
I've come to realize that my husband does way more for me then I give him credit for.
I've come to realize that money isn't everything and doesn't create happiness, but dang it, it sure does help!!!
I've come to realize that reading relaxes and calms me down.
I've come to realize if someone is a true friend, then they'll be there for you no matter what.
I've come to realize that true friends do not complicate my life, and vice versa.
I've come to realize that spending time on me, makes me more happy.
I've come to realize its not what you wear, but how you wear it.
I've come to realize that my family is great.
I've come to realize and accept that I lack self control, and am consciously working on it!
I've come to realize if I don't speak up, nothing will ever change.
I've come to realize that people need there personal space and time.
I've come to realize that working solely to make money is not worth the time and effort to be miserable.
I've come to realize that life is too short to be unhappy.

Fun at Lucky Peak...

A couple of weeks ago, Darek and I decided to go get the boat, clean it up, and make some improvements. We added a stereo, speakers, a new horn, summarized it, cleaned and wax it. Saturday, it was way hot (in the 90's) and we couldn't bare it any longer, we had to get up to the lake. Our friends, Cory, Lacy and Emmett wanted to go the hot springs up past Lucky Peak and decided to head up to the lake with us, and head out later. Due to unfortunate events, we were unable to make it to the hot springs, but manage to have a great time anyway. Cory, Lacy and Emmett left for the night, but we decided to make it our first camping trip of the season and stay over night. Burr..... was it cold cause we ruffed it in a tent. We woke up the next morning eager to get in the lake. Our awesome friends Gary, Flo and Van Dempsey met us up there for an even greater time.
After some showing off on the bike, Gary broke three ribs... ouch, but you cant tell in the picture below, he hides it pretty well.

Flo and I had a blast talking and sun bathing, she even got on the tubes, but said once she felt her brain rattling around she had to stop!!! I love that chick!

We took the dogs and they as well had a great time. Hershey, like always ran off, and didn't want to come back, thank god for cages!!!!! She's our little runner, and prisoner!

Caylee had a blast, her she is showing off her new swimsuit her Grandma Joyce got her. She says to tell you all that you should never buy a swimming suit that looks like it has flowers on it cause bees love you when you wear it. I think she got that from her dad.... who knows.

Shes my little cutie, a brat sometime, but my everything!!!!

He's going to kill me, but I couldn't resist, here's a picture of my man in his ghetto fabulous white trash outfit!!! Watch out for those socks.

Van, Flo and Gary's son seemed to have a good time, Joyce taught him how to cast off the boat, he went tubing with me, and played in the water. Don't look at me, i look gross!!!!

Overall, the weekend turned out pretty good, next we wont rush ourselves though!!!! And if any of you are interested in boating with us, just throw me a line and we'll go out sometime.

Crochet, Crochet, Crochet

As some of you may know, one of my favorite hobbies is crocheting!!!! It calms me down when I’m stressin’! Over the last couple weeks I have bought some patterns and made a few things! I’m loving the hats with brims, and have made several, different variations and such. For Easter, my sister bought her daughter a cute sundress from Old Navy, and Terah mentioned something about needing something to go over it. So I hopped in and made her a cardigan type thing, cause Terah is always making Caylee and me such cute things!!! Here is a picture of it!!! I love these kids!!!

I saw an awesome pattern for a pea coat for my daughter that I just had to make it. She’s not keen on things I make (at 5, who would have known), so to try and make it easier, I let her pick out the color that she wanted it to be, and what do you know she chose red, my favorite color. I finished if off with some leather covered buttons I found in Baker City! Sadly, it barely fits her, and she hates the color. I asked her why she chose red, and she simple said, “Mom, cause it’s you’re favorite”(it melted my heart to know she kept track of stuff like that). Some lucky girl will get it(if her mom wants it)!! I’m working on making several other, but for now, time doesn’t permit for me to do alot.

I have also made some hats, and I convinced Caylee to model them for me (you call tell by the look on her face!!!!)!

I've made some other stuff, and will update you later with the other stuff.
As for now, my hubby is home and we are off to dinner.

April 2009

The Caufields Life’s been a bit hectic lately, time flies, and I seriously don’t know what happened to it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been great, things have been looking up, and we as the Caufield’s are truly happy. We added yet another family member to our household, she’s a 3 yr old Min Pin named Hershey. Caylee has given her the name she-she, and surprisingly, she’s listens more when called she-she then by her real name. She’s a cutie and really a good dog. Goofy isn’t too fond of her yet, he wants all the attention! He’s been acting depressed like we don’t love him, but we all do, especially Caylee (in a prior blog we (I) stated he was dumb, but he truthfully is getting smarter by the day, thank God!!!)!!! Here’s a picture of our new dog, not a good one, but better with follow with in the week!

Life for me in the last 2 months has changed dramatically. I’m happier, fatter, and loving life.

For Instance:

Who in their right mind would admit that :
1.) They’re on a anti-depressant/anxiety pill
2.) They’re loving every minute of it!!!!

That’s right. One thing I am thankful for at the moment is LEXAPRO. I’ve been on it for about 2 months, and I’m loving it. I’m not nervous over stupid stuff anymore. I don’t dread going to work as much as I use to, and I don’t overreact over stupid things like I use to!!! My O.C.D. has calmed way down, and my house isn’t in perfect order like I like it to be, and it doesn’t bug me!!! Seriously! The only down side is I want to eat all the time!!! Will power/self control HERE I COME!!!

I’m also very thankful for my Daughter Caylee, she brings an endless amount of joy to our life’s with her never ending conversations about her life stories as a 5 year old. She’s moody like a 14 year old, but full of optimism like you wouldn’t believe. Looking back at my childhood years, Caylee and I are exact opposites. I was very shy, and she is very outgoing, she must get it from her dad!!

I am also very thankful for Darek, how hard he works to provide for our family! Over the last couple weeks, with him being gone, we have become closer, which is awesome. I love him!!!

Time, time, time, no time!

Here’s a little tib-bit about our life lately.

Life has been quite hectic to say the least. With in the last month we’ve celebrated Darek's 27th Birthday (man he's old) and Caylee's 5th Birthday (it's gone by so quick). I’m really bad at remembering to take pictures, so hence the lack for either (yes I’m a bad mom and wife). We celebrated with family and friends and had a wonderful time. Terah and Ben came down two weekends in a row, it was a blast. We can’t wait to see them next time!

With Caylee turning 5, Kindergarten is on its way! My mom was reading in the newspaper of a program that the Boise Library put on for 3-6 year olds, a Kindergarten preparedness class. Needing all the help I can get preparing for my first and only child going to school, I enrolled Caylee. This is a 6 week session, classes every Thursday night involving the parents and child. Caylee absolutely loves the time she spends there. She doesn’t seem very interested in the other kid but she loves Ms. Tammy the teacher. Thursday March 12th, I will be taking Caylee to Kindergarten registration at the school we think she’ll be attending (depending on whether we move again) Koelsch Elementary. I briefly mentioned this to her and she was ecstatic, so we’ll see how it goes (I’ll take my camera, I promise)!!!

Darek is a construction worker, as many of you know, and as a construction worker, he comes in handy (he can fix/build anything) but his work schedule can be sometimes hectic and bothersome. He has been working out of town in Hailey for a couple of weeks now, and I it’s takin’ its toll on Caylee and me (mostly me)! L I’m getting stressed out not having him home at night, and missing him like crazy. Days seem longer, nights shorter, and weekends even shorter, like there’s not enough time to get anything done! And it may seem stupid, but I don’t exactly love the neighborhood we live in, I stay up at night thinking about what might happen, who might break in and it freaks me out. Darek is my man who make everything bad disappear. I miss him tons!

As I stated in a prior posting, I received my end date of April 17th, 2009, as being my official last day with Supervalu/Albertsons LLC. Last Friday, I received the actual paperwork making it surreal!!!! I was totally counting down the days, 39 and counting baby…. But today I got the unfortunate news… they want to extend my stay once again, til around June 1st. I am ecstatic that they think I provide that much to the team, but honestly, I was looking forward to leaving, and I’m tired of being everyone’s B, if ya know what I mean!

That’s a little glimps of our life, yada yada ya!

Tag I'm It!

I was tagged!!!!!!! Tagged with something that is so hard for me to explain to others, the things I am thankful for! Reading my sisters blog, I found it very inspirational. From some anticipation from my sister Terah, I decided I would give it a shot. Here goes nothing (and it only took me a couple of hours!!!):

Please don't hate me... I just need a reason to be thankful, so I though I would write 10 reasons as to why I am thankful this very moment. If you are tagged... please re post on your blog, or face book, or wherever... Being thankful is GREAT!

1. I am thankful for my beautiful little girl, Caylee, who will soon be 5. For her relentless love, through the good times, and through the harsh times, reminding me that regardless of how I may act, that she'll always love me for whom I am. She is my everything, she keeps me on my toes, and reminds me each day how blessed I really am.

2. I am thankful for having the means and ability to read and write. I know it's weird but before my senior year in high school I hated writing, reading, anything of that nature. That year, I learned that through writing I can express myself more then I could ever verbally. Writing has made me more expressive and a better communicator and I am very thankful for that.

3. I am thankful for my husband. He puts up with more then any man should ever have to, and he still loves me for who I am and all the shit I put him through. His so talented and can fix almost anything, saving us a whole lot of money all the time! I rarely give him the credit he deserves, but I truly am thankful for him and all that he does!

4. I am thankful for my twin sister, Terah. She is my best friend! Only after her and her family moved away, have I realized how important, awesome, creative and crafty she really is. She motivates me to do things I normally wouldn't do. With out her, I would have no inspiration for decorating, remodeling, working out, or anything crafty. She inspired me to create a blog and showed me the ins and out. She very giving and compassionate in everything she does, and that’s why I am so thankful for her!!!

5. I thankful for my mom deciding way back when, to become a childcare provider, so that she could stay home with us kids. She was always there for us, always going the extra mile! As I am not so lucky to be able to say home with my child, she has stepped in and provided a safe and loving childcare environment for my Caylee. I will forever be indebted to her for this. Thanks Mom!

6. I'm thankful for my mom always pushing me as a child to learn how to crochet. Although I did not allow her to teach me (as a teenager I was dumb and didn’t want to learn an old lady hobby, which its not!!!!) she has embedded a life long hobby, something that allows me to sit down, relax, and create something beautiful.

7. I'm thankful for color books and markers. Coloring has allowed me to relate more to my daughter, being one of her favorite things to do, we'll sit down and color for hours talking about random stuff, reiterating what a real gem she really is. Plus at times, coloring keep her preoccupied which gives me time to catch up on my chores/daily activities!!!

8. I'm thankful for my family and everything they do for me, and everything they've done to make me the person I am! My grandparents ... My parents taught me to have faith, to be respectful. My mom has show me true endurance in all ways, she has taught me to believe!!! My dad taught me competitiveness. My brother has showed me how to be a respected leader. My sister Dana has showed me true compassion when I thought nobody cared! My sister Terah is just awesome as stated in 4.

9. I am thankful for my in-laws and extended family and all they have done for me and my family and their continued support!

10. I'm thankful for our dumb dog Goofy. He keeps our house happy and giddy. He shows us unconditional love every time we come and go. He lets Caylee torment him like he's her brother. When I think I'm having a bad day, I sit down rub this ears, and thank god that I'm not a 4 legged creature like him!!!!

Tag: You’re It! Express your thankfulness!

It's Official!!!!

No, I'am NOT Pregnant!!!
What were you thinking!!!!
Last year, one work day, nothing out the ordinary, our department received notice of a mandatory meeting. We all made our way over to the GO (big building to the left of our building) to find out that our jobs were going to be outsourced to India!!!! We couldn't believe it, who or what company in their right mind would send their finances to India???? We after several weeks/months of training Indias, I have come to hate(very strong word, but used 100% in the right way) my job! Its like teaching a 5 year old something complicated and expecting them to understand everything, the ins and outs etc! And may I add, common sense ain't so common these days!!! I could go on and on, but I'll spare you the pain!
So, my last day of work with SUPERVALU will be 4/17/2008. I know for some this would be tragic, but it absolutely made my day :) I'm taking this as a new beginning!!! Im going to start college (something I've been wanting to do for a long time)! I'll be able to spend some well deserved one on one time with my daughter before she starts kindergarten :( !!! She's getting so big, so quick! I'll be able to focus on my family for once!!!
Hooray for severance packages and unemployment!!!!
I love my life (seriously)!!!!!!

Baker City or Bust!

Over the last month our family has had the pleasure of visting Ben, Terah, Hayden and Adyson, not once, but twice. Them moving away has made us realize how important they really are, how much we love them and how much we miss them. Thankfully 2 hrs in the car isn't too long, the drive really isnt that bad, so visit won't be seldom. Our last visit flew by and we were so consumed with what we were doing, we forgot to take any pictures. Below are some pictures from our first visit.

We decided one day to take a walk to the park(in the extreme cold, yes we're crazy, but we needed the excerise!!!) and take some pictures. The kids were thrilled about the park, but not too much about the pictures. Below is one of Caylee, Ady, and Hayden crawling through the cement tubes.

Ben had the wonderful idea to take a picture with the camera on a timer, and it turned out awesome. I love it, and will be framing it to hang our my home!!! Thanks Ben!

Terah and Ben's camera was working wonders that day, we all "look" so happy, amazing, LOL, just kidding. We are all happy!
Here's one I took of Terah and Bens Family, how cute they are!

As a valentines present for my parents and grandparents I am making a collage of the last three photos together. I hope they love it! I know I do!

Here's a cute picture of my sister and neice Ady, man I love that kid (I think she looks more like me, ha ha ha, just kidden Terah, but comm'on, someone's kid has got to look like me!)

And who says adults cant act like kids, I truely had a good time, look at my excitement!

It was like we were back in elementary school. Ben and Darek couldn't get Terah and I off the teeter-totter.

Caylee and Hayden had a blast together! Being away, I think, has made them realize it's not good to fight with eachother, rather, playing is best!

They were both embarassed after this picture, Terah and I will be sure to keep it as black male. JK!

Caylee being a poser (just like her dad, jk) and Hayden with his animated face (and noises)!!!!

Ady and I had to get in some of the fun, so we decided to make some faces of our own (yeah, I know, I'm a dork, but this dork had a great time with her neice!!!!).

I'm sure there will be many more visits to come and I will totally be looking forward to each and every one. We love the WEAVER family!!!!

Friends Friends Friends!!!!!

Just recently we have been "reunited" with some long lost friends. David and Candice White. What a blessing they have been throughout these last couple months helping us move and being there for us.
***Candice has been one of my best friends since high school, and David was my husbands roommate from long ago, and the one that actually introduced Darek and I (thanks David)! I introduce Candice to David and now they are happily married. Who would have thought it would all end up like this!***

David and Candice have 3 beautiful little girls, Cassidy, Caylin, and Colbie. We love those girls, and Caylee is so excited that Cassidy is her friend!
Here is a picture of Caylee and Cassidy together having a good time in the snow!
When David and Darek get together, there’s always a great time to be had. David made a sled from left over supplies, and Darek was eager to take it out for a test run. After a snowy night, the next day, we decide that we all would go out to Black’s Creek and go sledding.

Here’s a bit of our pre-sledding adventure, testing their new matching pink camo snow suits in our front yard, Caylin joining in some big girl play.
Caylee and I excited to get in the snow!
Darek, Caylee and I stuffed in the truck on our way.

David, Candice and Family leading the way!

David was the first to try it out, down a rather steep hill.
He went fast!!! Once I saw how much fun he had, I had to try it!

With a push from David I was on my way, scared to death but no turning back! I caught some major air!!!

There was no convincing Cassidy, she already had it in her mind that she was going to do it. Caylee on the other hand, wasn’t so sure.

After a few minutes later, Cassidy had Caylee climbing up the hill, we got her on the sled with Cassidy and away they went.

Caylee hated it, Cassidy wanted to go again and again and again.

Mom and Daughter, how cute they are!!!

After an hour or so of the snow kicking our behinds, we decided to head back, Caylin, Cassidy and Caylee all enjoyed the ride back!
We are so greatful that David, Candice and their family are back in our life. Not having their friendship for many years made us realize what a blessing they really are. Thanks guys! Luv ya!
